Ingalls Ministry
In 2006, Pendleton First UMC took over ownership of this facility and, in
conjunction with the North Indiana Conference, is in the process of developing a plan for revitalizing the ministry in this community. South Madison Community Church - formally the Ingalls UMC
- has a long tradition in the community of Ingalls, IN. The church itself was formed in 1893 while the building and the grounds were not established until 28 years later in 1921. This classically beautiful church, with its traditional sanctuary and stained glass windows, has a rich sense of home. With a renewed enthusiasm, contemporary style, and an “at your service” mentality, it will be able to thrive for many more years.
