Children & Youth
Nursery: We offer quality childcare on Sunday mornings for children birth-2years.
Sunday Activities: 11:00: During our 11:00 service the children will leave the sanctuary for a combined age Sunday School. The children will return to the sanctuary following the message.
Children Wednesday Evening Activities: Friendly Flock Nursery School: They offer morning and afternoon sessions for 3 to 5 year olds. The classes run from September to May. We offer a safe, secure environment that helps children to learn social skills and Christian ideals. The children have music and Chapel each week. The 4 year olds receive Kindergarten readiness skills. There are scholarships available for tuition. Please call the church office for more information.

Pendleton First United Methodist Church
9:00: During our 9:00 service the children will leave the sanctuary following a brief children's message to attend age appropriate Sunday School. These classes will be held in our children's department. Parents may pick up their children following the service or the children are invited to join us for a special time of fellowship while parents attend Sunday School. During this time the children will be involved in singing, games, crafts, and snacks. Parents are to pick up children prior to the 11:00 service. On the first Sunday of each month the children will return to the sanctuary to participate in communion with their families. The Sunday School teacher will bring the children upstairs and help them locate their family. Following this special monthly service parents can bring their children back downstairs for their Fellowship time.
Location: Children's Department in Fellowship Hall
During the school year we offer a midweek program, Circle of Friends, for children in kindergarten-4th grade.
