Donna Wood grew up in the Methodist Church in Anderson, where she was a member of Colonial United Methodist Church, where she attended with her parents Donn and Marlene Beavers, who now attend at Pendleton Campus also.  She became a member of First United Methodist Church Ministries, Inc. at the Pendleton Campus in 1999, after she began working as the assistant Financial Secretary.  Since that time Donna has held the positions of church secretary and office administrator. She now serves as church administrator for First United Methodist Church Ministries.

Donna is a member of PAUMCS (Professional Association of the United Methodist Church Secretaries) and belongs to Church Women United.  She enjoyed participating in Disciple I Bible Study, which gave her the opportunity to get to know others in a small group setting.  As part of her duties here at church, Donna is a member of the Board of Trustees, Finance Committee and Administrative Council, where she serves as secretary.

A love of children caused Donna to volunteer to teach in our children’s programs, and she currently serves as Sunday School teacher for the girls in the Princess class.

Donna lives in Anderson with her husband, Jim, and daughter Lacey.  They usually attend the 11:00 am Contemporary Worship Service on Sundays.
